Smoke and Strings Event Landing Page

Smoke+strings.jpg

This website was a reinvention of an event webpage for Treasure House's Second Annual Smoke and Strings Event. Treasure House is a non-profit organization that builds communal living facilities for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live full lives. For this design, the first step was to reimagine the logo for the event to include the imagery already provided in the title. Since the last two years have featured popular country artists, it felt important to include the 'western' color scheme with hints of symbolism throughout the page. The main function of this page is to be a hub of information before people move through the call-to-action buttons. An event as important and entertaining as this one deserves a design with intention and detail.

The History of the Oreo Website

A continous, scrollable webpage with five sections that cover the beginning of the Oreo, the development over time, the faces behind the Oreo, the logo through decades, and a Oreo flavor ranking. This project combined the playfulness of childhood treat with the informative breakdown of its story. This webpage also holds a humorous narrative through the inputted red commentary flowing through each section of the page. As a respectable Oreo fan, this project let me create something that excited me while teaching me about web design through Webflow's function.

The Joke Page

This single page design plays on the lighthearted nature of the joke itself by incorporating illustrative elements into both the imagery and type. After several variations of ripped-pants imagery, this illustrations picked to evenly flow the text around its structure. The color scheme was kept limited to ensure cohesion across the design, with the character himself matching the heaviest of text. Overall, this playful design allows a designer to account for the transfer of information across different sized platforms while ensuring no elements are restricted in the process.

The Celiapp

Celiapp is an imagined delivery app designed for the safety for those who have celiac-disease. As an often misunderstood, and hard-to-navigate illness, there is currently no option on the market that works to make food delivery simple. An essential component of this app design was to communicate the comfort through the entire interface system. As someone who has seen how frustrating the sickness that comes with cross-contamination and the lack of care from restaurants in the market, an app like this could revolutionize the game. This makes the easability of the app that much more important. The warm color scheme was chosen to do just that, with each color signaling the level of safety each location was. Additionally, the logo, primary type, and iconic imagery in the interface hold a handmade feature as well, to signify that the customers are in the best hands possible.
